1988 Reverse Jackson Firebird - Chinese Dragon Graphic

Built in 1988 for Robbin. One of his last Jackson guitars. Serial #J4649. Floyd Rose trem, volume control, Tom Anderson H-3 pickup. Chinese Dragon motif by Marc Rude.

This guitar is featured in the "Way Cool Jr." video and was from the last batch of guitars Robbin received from Jackson in 1988. Used extensively on the "Reach for the Sky" tour. Ordered & received "poly (primer) only" so that the artwork could be done by tattoo artist Marc Rude.

A truly stunning work of art! Note the incredibly intense detail in the close up pics. Once again the beginnings of Robbin's "Divot" can be seen on the upper edge of the guitar.

The Tom Anderson H-3 pickup sounds GREAT in this guitar and the unfinished neck backshape is very thin, even for a Jackson! The backside of the guitar has 'KING' in HUGE vinyl letters which, according to Robbin, were added by his guitar tech Jimmy "'Catfish" Wingate along with a glow in the dark "A" (Tuned to A440) The guitar is also signed by Robbin in black Sharpie.
