American Showster

One of Robbin's most interesting & unique Instruments. A mid 1980's American Showster with a Floyd Rose tremolo unit, a Seymour Duncan JB pickup, and a single volume control.

This Floyd Rose equipped model was one of two American Showsters that Robbin owned, the other was a hardtail bridge version in the same color. Modeled after a 1957 Chevy Bel Aire, the Showsters were a limited run of instruments built by the American Guitar Company during the '80s. There were less than 300 of these made. Note the tail light in the photo at lower left... When the tremolo bar was depressed the "brake light" lit up!

This guitar was used by Robbin on Ratt's Japanese & European tours.
