Welcome!
NOTE from Sully: Curt and I built Robbincrosby.net back in 2004, and we enjoyed the community of fans and friends that was fostered. Sadly, the domain was allowed to expire, and the site was lost. Of course, with social media platforms becoming the main place for fans to interact, one could argue that there’s no need for a website anymore. Perhaps, but in any case, I’ve brought back what was completed from the redesign Curt and I were discussing back in 2013 that never materialized. There are old watermarks from the old site here and there, and I’ve decided to let them remain. I have no plans to add to it, but after Curt’s passing in 2024, I want this to serve as a gesture of love and remembrance.
Robbin had said to me that he didn’t want to be forgotten, and decades after his passing in 2002, I’m happy to see that his memory lives on.
Robbin and his Black Lab, Rosie
This site is for Robbin; it was created to honor him and his accomplishments; not only as a musician in a famous rock band, but as a human being that lived life to the fullest.
Robbin Crosby is one of the most underrated guitarist/songwriters in the history of Rock N’ Roll. More than that, he was an intelligent individual and a true gentleman with integrity…an all too rare combination nowadays. Talented, intelligent, generous, and compassionate all rolled into one giant of a man; he was a “king” in every sense of the word.
We hope you enjoy the site and we’re always open to suggestions or contributions on how to make the site better. The links will take you many places; up close photos of many of his famous guitars, an extensive photo gallery with many of the photos coming from Robbin’s personal archives. There are (and will be more) interviews, and journal style entries of our times with Robbin.
